You need 4 things.

1. Permission (all land is owned & you must have the owners permission).
2. A detector.
3. A spade.
4. Patience.

You will not get rich, you won`t find "Treasure" that often. 98% of what you dig will be rubbish. ::g

Welcome to this great hobby. Must be great to start with a ready made detecting buddy - someone to share the excitement of a good find and commiserate with when you haven’t :))

Ask any questions you might have. No question is to silly. But you might find this guide to the forum useful as a starting point app.php/mdf-help-guide

It’s also on the top menu bar too if you ever need to find it in the future u;@

Good luck ::g
