Hi

After a few weeks using my new detector the Garrett300i & getting to know all the settings i am now finding all sorts of spoils including 1907 &1919 half penny's, also a 1919 silver sixpence (good condition) well chuffed,
oh no to mention 29p & 1966 thrupnbit,

after getting my magnifying glass out the sixpence was a 1926 after all, still a good find

i will sort out how to put photos on to show you my finds

Beating me, only 1 pre-decimal (threepenny bit) small amount of current issue coins, 2 musket balls, scrap and a few bullets/cases. Going out tomorrow and can't wait!

thanks for your message, I also have found quite a few post decimal coinage, went out last night found
3 and half horse shoes in the same field making 5.5 horse shoes in total, must be some luck involved there somewhere

At last! I can beat you on horseshoes, got a fantastic whole one a few weeks ago on the beach (seahorse?). Rusty mess when it came out, bit of hammering and electrolysis and it looks like new.

After thinking about it, it probably is new :(
