I've been lurking here for a good while so I thought it best to register and introduce myself.
A friend gave me a C.Scope CS880 a while back that I've been playing with. I since learnt that this isn't perhaps the best detector, more of a man hole cover finder! I'm ordering an Ace 250 next week off of Amazon.
I live next to a farmers field, but without a farm attached, once I find out who owns it I'll try and get permission.
I live in Doncaster by the way, so hi!

The Ace 250 is a well respected, tried and tested machine that many on this forum started out with so there will be plenty of help if you have any questions about it. Hope the search for the landowner comes good for you.
