Hi all

Thanks for the add. Looking to get Christmas present for the brother splitting with parents.
Is there any where on this site which lists metal detectors by rrp? Or provides a way to compare on one page?
My mum was set on the garrett 300i (from the amazon reviews) but I told her it's best to research a bit before getting the first you see.

Probable budget is lower end, say £200 or so. Will that get us anything good?
My brother is on Orkney in Scotland if that is of any relevance.

Cheers in advance
Sam

Just to add, dont dismiss buying second hand
Go to the dealers and see what they have in, most offer at least a 3 months warranty and you should be able to recover almost all your outlay should your brother not like the hobby
