We are a father and son duo who are total newbies in metal detecting...any advice is well appreciated

Welcome Dad and son, hope you enjoy the forum, plenty of advice here through searching the many topics listed in the Menu on the left. Do read the rules, especially on how to make a good ID topic as I am sure you will both be soon finding lots of interesting items! Do you have a machine each or do you fight for it? :D

Some sort of electrical gubbins(I'm told it's a Deus). In various colours
Jenkins
Gin.

I unfortunately am resigned to digger upper. ..we have found an interesting handle or lever last night when out but no idea how to find out what it is๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Hi Dad, I think you tried to make an ID topic request but nothing came through except three letters "jpg" but no picture? so can you read the helpful Guidelines as that will show you what to do ::g We all struggled with uploading the pics but take it slowly and it will work out fine, cheers, Liam
