new to metal detecting

hi everyone

my son got a metal detector its only a discovery 2200 but doesn't seem interested
so i went out and had a go and now im hooked lol
went to a local field and found my first coin, a 1930 silver half crown, i want to keep
doing it now more and more but im struggling to find anywhere,
atr there any local chester clubs or anyone willing to
take me to one of there permissions, ive emailed and spoke to a few farms and farmers
but had no luck

Well done on your first find of a 1930 Halfcrown. They were produced accompanied by relatively low mintage figures and whilst not particularly scarce, they're not easily come by in collectable condition. ::g Good Luck - Regards ss47
