I’m Lucas ,new here and I wondering if someone can answer my question
Do I need any permission to use my metal detector on Cape Verde,Boa vista beach?
I was looking everywhere

No idea but the fishing is apparently pretty good there. :D

PS Not that heavily populated so I'm not sure what there would be to find?

I can see it was okay in 2003.

I can also see shipwrecks are protected

I can also see that some shipwrecks are on some beaches

ahhh conflicting information overload.

I can see this question has been asked several times since 2003 without answer. I be surprised if the hotel wouldn't know

Of course you can use your metal detector on the beach as they are public here. Please be always aware of others while you are treasure hunting.
