I'm just finding my way about and place, and it seems one of the better forums out there.
Garrett 400i, Pro pointer AT,
Don't ever worry about asking for advice, even if you think it's simple, after all we all had to start at the beginning.
As for your first detector, your right not to get a complicated machine.
Two years ago I decided to give up detecting after many years and sold up all my detecting gear.
Very recently I decided to start detecting once again, and bought an all swinging and dancing machine..VERY COMPLICATED !!...so I'm having to learn all over again !!
Anyway, good luck on whatever detector you choose, and I look forward to seeing all your future notable finds.
Good hunting.. .
