Just to let you know we have a dig this weekend near Towcester in Northants, on Saturday 30th November.
We have acquired around 40 acres of arable land which is rotted stubble the reason we have chosen this site is the soil is nice and sandy. We have only visited these particular fields once around eight years ago and if memory serves me right we found stuff from Roman right the way through to Medieval, there are lots of crop marks around the area so could be interesting.
