Good luck to all attending this great event. I was down to attend but now jammed up with so many other business and detecting events all in September, just ran out of days, Liam :;@

Latest update from the organisers...
Hey All,
Ok just a quick update for you all. Well what a fantastic response we have had from all you amazing people. Your support again literally blows us away.
Now we only have around 20 weekender tickets left so if you are thinking about coming you had better be quick.
Please Remember if you have booked but not PAID this does not guarantee you a ticket.
The only way to guarantee a place is to pay.
We are shortly sending out reminder e-mails and if we get no reply within a few days then we will assume you no longer wish to come and the ticket will go back out on sale.
As mentioned another local landowner has kindly allowed us to use some extra fields so we will have plenty of fields to hit. They are all in crop at the moment so we need you all to wish for an early harvest so the farmers have plenty of time to prepare the fields for you.
You are not going to be disappointed with the raffles again this year guys prizes are growing by the week...
If we can have as much fun and comeradery as we did last year then we will be in for another amazing weekend.
A huge thank you again for your simply incredible support.

For those travelling and not camping, where are people stopping?
I've just booked into the Chippenham Travelodge on the M4.
Andi
XP Deus, 11" X35 coil, WS4 back-phones, remote and an empty bank balance. XP MI 6 pin pointer. Garrett Ace 250 wireless MPow set up.
They told me I’d never be any good at poetry, because I’m dyslexic, but so far I’ve made 3 jugs and a vase.

Latest update from the organisers:

Hi All.
Well just over a month to the Rally and its all going well.
As you can see dave and myself have been to the rally site and a lot has been harvested and its now being prepared for us. Ploughing whilst we were checking out gate entrances to fields etc.
Oh now unfortunately there is no water tap on site as its in a field so sorry everyone.
Also the caterer has asked who would be wanting the Hog Roast on Saturday so he can get a rough idea on numbers.
You will all be sent dig details by email a week before the event. Please bring your personal reference number with you along with ncmd card this will gain you entrance to the site. Its a non ticket event everyone.
Anyway raffle prizes are still rolling in..
Looking forward to seeing you all again and some new faces.
Please arrive for 12pm friday detecting starts at 2pm.

Kind Regards
The Rodney Cook Memorial Rally Team

Only 3 weeks away now and the Rally will be taking place. ::g

It`s nice to meet folk again from over the many years that our hobby has been taking place. :)
