I agree with you on business funding digs.
however, I do believe that the proceeds of this dig go to the rotary club who in turn help good causes.

Plus the added bonus of free tea and coffee, no flask required πŸ˜€πŸ‘

Food wise for breakfast, it is a sausage and bacon baps affair done on an open flame griddle, and very cheap.

I am not connected with this dig, but have enjoyed the last 2 digs with them.

Relaxed and friendly

Hi. Not been on an organised dig yet as still a newbie at this great little hobby.
So my question is.......me and my husband share a detector. I detect and he digs then we swap after 10 mins or so.
On these organised digs with 2 people sharing 1 MD would we have to pay for 1 person or 2?? When I enquired about this with the Henley dig, we would have to pay for 2 tickets. Obviously that will work out an expensive way to meet like minded experienced people.
Thanks in advance

Paying for two people in those circumstances seems a tad harsh to me. :D

Just pop an email to Barry Clark, but I would have thought it would be only the 1 ticket.

I know of other digs that only charge by the detector and not people sharing.

Make sure you have spare batteries, or fully charged up.
Snacks and toilet roll are a must on any dig, even if they have a loo and catering.
And the last thing to remember is ,........ENJOY yourselfπŸ˜πŸ˜€
