Weather Forecast - http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2654142
Looks good, though the beer may need extra insulation to keep cold ..
Still some spaces left for this biggest ever Forum Dig, so don't miss out on meeting up with everyone. Liam OooO

Thanks Robert, the more the merrier! ::g
Some newcomers to the hobby may think that these events are not for them as they don't have the top end machines and have only started to learn how to detect but they are WRONG! This 3 day event is for ALL MDF forum members and friends who simply want to come along and enjoy some detecting and there will be many others around who will be absolutely delighted to offer advice and guidance on all sorts of machines and ways to detect. I will be on site as much as possible and will be pleased to help any newcomer. Its the people who make events enjoyable, Liam ::g

It's true that these are perfect for beginners, and I speak from experience.

When I was new to the hobby, swinging my Garrett Ace 150, the MDF forum dig was the first rally I ever joined, also the first time I got to detect land. It was a great experience, everybody was extremely friendly and helpful, and completely took any nerves I had away from the very start.

Now I return a seasoned detectorist =)) , swinging my Deus and ready to give advice to anyone else that comes along who are new to this fantastic hobby. ::g

Howdy Liam,
There's a chance that we may be able to attend but we're at the mercy of our landowners as the harvest/re-drilling is a little in the air due to the inclement weather experienced by the UK as a whole :(
It would be great to meet up and see some of the forum members too.
Whatever happens, have a great rally!!

Best
