Go Minelabbing 10-12 August

Post by Oxgirl36 »

10-12 August Go Minelabbing 2018 - near North Elmsall, West Yorkshire. £50 in advance for the weekend. All proceeds to Weston Park’s Children’s charity. Tickets on sale from 1st March from Crawfords. Call Craig or Joe on 01724 845608

Or buy them online here https://www.crawfordsmd.com/go-minelabb ... inelabbing

Looks like a great weekend! Remember there’s a Rallies list for 2018. You can access it at the top of every page of the forum. It’s in the blue box above or click here...

Hopefully some of you might be swinging your new Equinox machines. And if you aren’t you can corner the Minelab team -=+:-P

Hi all

I have never been on an organised rally before, mainly because I have access to plenty of land but as I am getting more into it, I thought I would broaden my horizon a little.

As I am not far from South Yorkshire, this sounds ideal. I assume the Minelabbing dig is organised by Minelab and is therefore an excellent event?

Thanks, David

Word on the street around here is that it is being organised by Coil to the Soil ( CTTS) again as they did in 2016.

I never camp either when doing weekenders as the last thing I want is a rubbish nights sleep if I'm going to be detecting all day two days in a row!

The website says the rally is in West Yorkshire rather than South Yorkshire - I guess the exact location won't be revealed until nearer the time - relevant if booking accommodation?

This is the reply I got from Crawfords:

Hi Neil,
It is close to North Elmsall, west Yorks. The closest postcode I can give is WF8 3JF.
Kind regards
Craig.

Hope I am not breaking any rules posting this.

She already has B-) , booked it yesterday, think I posted the name of the hotel in an earlier post. She does not do farmland, only beaches, as she attracts all the insects and gets bitten a lot. Will have to get the insect cream out ::g .

Hi

I am wanting to book a Sunday ticket for Go Minelabbing. The ticket price is £30, does anybody know how it works with kids?

My 10 year old will be coming, which i assume he won't have to pay for if not detecting? He sometimes has a go with the spare detector but only lasts an hour or so before getting bored, would he need to pay full ticket price to do so?

It would be great if anybody knows as it doesn't say anywhere that I can find!

Cheers

When I booked I asked and they said my son (8) could detect for free, I shall be printing the email off and taking it just in case.

For anyone interested details should be going out next week if you're wondering where you've actually got to go 👍
