garrett ace cuff

Post by hardtail » Tue Oct 21, 2014 4:58 pm

Hi there im currently waiting for my rappoo 3070 wireless headphone to arrive for my detector and got me thinking as to where to mount the reciever ,im thinking along the lines of mounting a custom box inside the v on the rear of the cuff rest which will house the reciever and volume control and have the heaphone wire threaded inside the stem and out just by the headunit so i can plug in the sender when needed if you catch my dift ill post some pics when im doing the work but i was wondering if you can buy just the rear part of the garrett arm cuff ( the v bit) instead of the whole thing as i was going to keep mine just incase i mess it up =P~

I have just bought a second pair as the batteries only last 5 hours. There really good for the price and I just plug the receiver straight into the control box on my garret, works a treat.

Its about 5cm by 2.5cm. The only thing I would say it does make it difficult to fasten the control box cover if you have one.

Not a bad idea that. The wireless headphones make a massive difference I was always getting tangled up with the ones supplied.
