So far I’ve not used it for that but I have used it at home for photographing other finds.
They are cheap (under £2), robust, wipeable (they are plastic) and a perfect background for most finds (matt finish). And as they are credit card sized they really are easy to take with you.

I don't personally OG, but it does look very useful for those who carry a camera (my old Blackberry can just about manage a phone call). I have used a few different methods for scaling finds, but I now use an L-shape 5cm scale that I got for a fiver from Past Horizons. Does the job.

I do now - that's very handy, many thanks for the tip.
(I had to pay £1.95 in postage, which is taking the piss for a sliver of plastic, but never mind.)
