The best Android app for taking pictures of finds.

Post by dig4fun » Sun Jan 20, 2019 8:31 pm

Hi. I have a Samsung S8+ and would like to find the best Android app free or paid for for taking close up pictures of my finds to capture as much detail as possible.
Can anyone advise please.

Hi
I’ve got one called image resize-it’s free if you can put up with some adverts.
But on an I-phone?
Cheers ::g

The S8 has a good camera and you should be able to take good macro photos without having to get a separate app for it. Maybe look for some online tutorials on how to use the native camera app and have a play with the features in Pro mode.

EDIT: Here's a good in-depth tutorial. Looks like you might benefit from using the Selective Focus feature. https://www.knowyourmobile.com/mobile-p ... t-properly

The camera on the phone should be good enough I would think, crop it in the dedicated photo already on your phone

This app is great for resizing, go to custom width and height size and change value in the left value only to 599 the other will auto change
