2 options that come to mind and the 1st one is the possibiilty of using the Garrett wireless probe/headphone setup which is still currently available and the best option in my mind 'was' the DetectorPro's Uniprobe setup which alas as i understand is no longer available.....i do own the latter option but wont ever part with it because they are that good, also the Uniprobe was/is exceptionally deep due to it using the Pulse Induction platform.

The only option which i have never used so cannot give a verdict is the Garrett one, just a thought of course.
Equinox,Deus2,Nexus MP,TDI Pro pulse c/w 20'' Mono,Fisher TW-5 twin box and the big fella the Minelab GPX pulse c/w 18'' Coiltek Mono Elite.

The opening poster is not on about wireless headphones but linking a pinpointer so that the signal can be heard through the headphones very much like the Deus Mi-6 can be linked so the pinpointer can be heard through them.

The rx tx bluetooth box is linked to the bluetooh headphones The rx tx bluetooth box is then linked buy cable to headphone jack on your machine then in turn the accupoint is linked to the headphones when the accupoint is switched on the sound goes through the headphones when the accupoint is switched of the sound then goes to the detector headphones.

This topic is timely as I have been wondering the same: is it possible to set up a Garrett Z-link pinpointer with my Nokta Macro headphones to use on my Legend? I have the Garrett Z-link transmitter which I used to use with my first detectr Garrett400i.

The Garrett pinpointer can be hard to hear while wearing headphones especially when it's windy. I sometimes have to move one cup of the headphones off my ear to be able to hear the pinpointer.

I beleive that the ZLink protocol is only workable with Garrett ZLink-compatible gear, just like the Minelab ML85 and ML105 headphones using a Minelab-specific protocol, based on BlueTooth, will only talk to specific ML detectors.

If anyone has a dongle-free solution linking between pinpointer and headphones for Manticore/Nox900/XTerraPro/XTerraElite then that's what I'd like to see. [81/]
