Type r or 360?

Post by Devon steve »

Ok guys. Spending more money, which is the better scoop- type r or 360? Type R looks stronger. What you guys recommend? Cheers

Hard choice! I don't think you would have any build / strength issues with the 360 ::g
Remember the MDF have both these available cheaper than anywhere across the net ::g
Best of luck in whatever you decide on, something tells me you will not go far wrong with whichever you decide on.

Hi Guys , paul from Evolution here.
First thing to ask your self is what will you be digging in ?

360 scoop. Mainly for dry/wet sand light shale.
Type R all above + hard sand gravel smaller stones, clay.
Pro scoop. All the above plus any thing you need to dig in.

I have been using a 360 on beaches for over 4 years now and it still looks as good as new, they are very well made and tough. I went for the 360 because they are lighter and I work on sandy beaches so did not need the pointy bit on the other heavier types.

Couple more questions guys😊 everyone days the R Type is heavy compared to the weight of the 360. Are they that different? They both 2mm stainless? And do either have lifetime warranty? Cheers

Hello here are the listings below with details ::g

Direct link - Evolution Typr R Scoop

Direct link - Evolution 360 Scoop

You can see the 360 scoop is 1.5kg and the type r is 1.8kg

There are also stainless steel handles available for both these listings but obviously that`s also an increase in weight.
