Mars Goliath coil on a Garrett Ace 400i

Post by Can you dig it » Sat Sep 08, 2018 3:38 pm

Just purchased a Mars Goliath coil and fitted it to my Garrett Ace 400i.
After completing an air test on different coins, musket balls, and buckles. It gives me 30 Percent more depth on all items that the standard Garrett Ace factory coil gives you >:D< >:D< >:D<

Looking forward to going out on my pasture land to give it a try [:)

Just returned from 3 hours of detecting on a pasture field with the new "Mars "Goliath" fitted to my Garrett Ace 400i .
I found a thimble, a nice old button and 2 unrecognisable coins, all around the 10 Inch Mark.
This new set up has definitely increased my find rates at greater depth compared to the Garrett factory coil..

Feeling happy [:) and looking forward to my next day out.

Better balance than the factory coil, and I would say less fatigue because the Goliath coil is lighter :)

Yes, the Mars Goliath coil is 1lb 3oz and the Pro performance DD is 1lb 6.9oz.
That surprised me as well :-O
But I can definitely feel less weight when using it. ::g
