Euro Ace problem

Hi all haven't been out with my machine for a couple of years its been kept in storage in bubblerap, put new batters in today but will not switch on ,got the unit on a radiator now ;;z anybody had same problem Thanks

Hi Kato,
I assume you've tried the obvious - checked that the batteries are actually new / charged and placed into the machine correctly? Have you checked the contacts to make sure they are clean? If the batteries were removed for storage and it was kept dry, then there should be no reason for it not to fire up.

Check battery voltage and polarity. If batteries are all ok press and hold down the power button for 10 seconds and this should reset the on board chip to factory reset.

If still no joy then might be worth contacting the supplier or Garrett themselves.

hi,
one thing to check is the metal clip on the battery holder has not fallen off.
it is at the other end than springs and joins batteries.
mine fell of and machine dont work without it.

Good news. Opened box and on the circuit board there are 2 gold discs that receive power from the batteries springs one had a deep scratch/ burn gave it a clean and all good now . Hope this helps someone ::g . Free fix :)) Thanks for the replys
