WS5 headphone problem

Post by nomads » Mon Oct 19, 2015 7:07 pm

Hi folks, I seem to have a problem with these headphones the speaker in the right ear piece keeps going off. One chap that I spoke to thinks passing traffic could be the problem but surely xp would have thought of all outcomes. I am wondering if any body else has had a similar problem. many thanks nomads

One had similar problem a few weeks back - with the W4.. A small clean of the contact points did the fix.. Im not sure you can clean anything in the W5.. Just mentioned it..

I'm having the exact same problem , I rang crawfords today , I started to explain the problem and he said " only one speaker working , the top cables gone " ....

Ive arranged to send them back for repair ::g

You've got two years on the warranty so I'd contact the place you got them from mate ::g

If it's a fractured/broken wire then it's not covered on XP warranty,my WS4's did and had to buy a new headband much to my chagrin as only had the machine for 6 months.

Had the same thing had to buy a new backbone as the wire had broken down on the right hand side seems to be a common fault with them. ;;z
