i have now got the field next door as well for you,
it has just had beet taken off.
i thought the stubble was a bit hard and high, although it may soften up more.
so now you have a good choice.

Out very early tomorrow with Ninja and alloveroveroveroveroverover ....doing a recce to check out the land for those attending, all looks set for a really good day out. Numbers are limited but no doubt we will run more events and in bigger numbers, emphasis will always be on quality time and ensuring everyone is a VIP, Liam ::g

Ninja and myself went again this afternoon in the hail, wind and rain to check out some better land for next Sundays event. The other two fields were undetected, which sounds great but when we checked them out they were pretty barren, so the two large fields from today will be just what we need. Two large fields, one is very light stubble that is ideal for detecting, the other is now cultivated and looks like its seeded but its not! Ample hard standing.
This excellent pub is less than half a mile from the fields and although we will have some signage up on the roads, it might be better to meet up at the pub car park and then be directed to the fields that also has good hard standing.
http://www.thepigs.org.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; They do B&B but the prices are way too high. If you Google around you will no doubt find a bargain as its off season.
Weather - we are always at the mercy of the weather and we will make a decision by Thursday evening if we think its going to be too bad.
A big thanks to Nige who is always busy behind the scenes chatting with landowners, top class all round ::g
Can I ask all those who have their name down on the list, to confirm via a post on here that they are still ok to come along, I have a waiting list that is .... waiting, Liam

Am still up for it Liam, ive actually detected about a mile away from there before on a farm that produces green waste of all things, he is one of the good guys though with very little contamination and was horrified when I told him about some of the stuff his peers produce.
