Wireless headphones

Post by wanny » Wed May 02, 2018 8:58 am

Was just wondering about a pair of cordless headphones.
I'm running a fisher f75, and need to free myself from being 'tied' to my detector.
Are all wireless headphones universal?
And could someone advise on a good pair ::g
Cheers

The Garrett ms3 zlynk kit is very good and can be bought for £129.95.
According to Garrett can run for upto 30 hrs between charges but I could not confirm that as I charge mine every couple of trips out.

I find them very comfortable, clear tones, no discernible lag and clamp to your head like a limpet so don’t slip when digging which was a problem I had with my preavios set up.

My hunting bud Navy Davy has wireless on his F75 and loves them. Great if you hunt the shrubbery and in the woods!

Was this on a F75? I have read their headphone socket is wired strangely (not checked myself) which can confuse wireless ones wired conventionally .
I know my home made wireless ones work fine with a racer and cscope but on an F75 are faint and distorted and dont work at all if the volume switch is higher than 50% .

Sorry Chester, I can’t help, I use my wireless headphones with a Garrett at max and at pro. Seems strange that fisher would wire there headphone jack differently though.
