Post by bigjohn » Wed Feb 19, 2014 8:40 pm

hi guys I bought a set of wireless headphones for my ace 250 last week and I have to say they work great and only cost £6-35p they were bought from a well known website that starts with an E and you will know if your buying from the right guy as he,s sold nearly 3000 sets of them you could use them once then throw them away there so cheap theres also a guy on youtube showing you how to attach them to your detector , type in wireless headphones in to youtube
be lucky guys

I have got both the FM transmitter and the Bluetooth,by far the best method is Bluetooth, swinging the detector gives intermittant signals with the fm and if you are near power lines it goes haywire, spend £12 in the flea or 7 day shop online, and buy a Transmitter and a £14 set of bluetooth enabled headphones,The headphones last 10 hrs and the Transmitter 8. signals are pretty crisp but you have to get used to the new tones they give out.
Headphones also are FM radio and an Mp3 with a micro sd card slot !!!

Any chance we can describe how these fix to the detectors ?.....I take it the OP is talking about the 5 in 1 wireless headphones, where I guess you'd have to secure the receiver box to the detector.

But what about the blue tooth headphones ?...What part fixes to the detector, as I can only see the headphones ???......Can anyone expand on this.

Thanks Ken.

The bluetooth Transmitter uses the normal earphone plug on the Detector, Comes with a charging lead a small double ended 3.5mm jack plug and a longer flexi lead, from fleabay.
The bluetooth headset comes with a charging lead, You just switch on the two devices to pair them up.
No wires from headset to transmitter it uses Bluetooth to pick up the signal from Transmitter.
I have a small pouch tywraped to the stem under the control box and use the lexi lead to house the Transmitter.

Transmitter was £12 Headphones were £14
