Deus with CP6e headphones question.

Post by Rift » Thu Oct 16, 2014 9:11 pm

Guys,

If you have the WS4 back phones with the chefphones CP6e full phones how do you find the sounds ?
I don't want to describe how mine sound until I hear what others think.
They are comfortable and fit well, it's just how people find the sounds compared to the WS4's I'm interested in.
I have tried to contact them but it always goes to answer phone and I don't get a call back (but I have heard the guy is not too well).

Many thanks

ive just purchased the cp6 chefphones, mainly for the cold winter days ahead.they are very well made, lightweight and seem to be robust, ive only used them once but as said before on previous posts ,the sounds seem very dull,a shorter muffled type of tone, however this can be overcome by changing the tones via the control box ,but i only have the lite so cannot do it,
also they are that good at blocking out background noise i have to remove them when using the pointer as i cant hear it,
ive gone back to the wired backphones plugged into the ws4s via the adaptor,
this way the module is safe and sound and dry in my inside pocket
il probably only use the cp6,s now if its freezing
xp adventis 2 & ws1,s

Thanks for the replies guys.

I agree the sounds are "muffled".
A bit like listening underwater with all the shape and crispness of the sounds muted.
To be honest I expected better but people seemed to rave about them.

At least I now know its the headphones design and not just my pair.

Cheers
