TDK WR700 or Blaupunkt comfort 112 headphones are very good. There is a miniscule delay on the TDKs but it is not noticable if you slow your swing ::g ::g

Yes you can get a brand new pair of tdks for about £50. Cant fault them, a tiny tiny delay but if you search normal not fast sweep you will be ok.

As for turning off it depends on the machine you are using i run my t2 quite hot (sensativity and zero discrim) so there is always audio going to the phones. It only goes off one or two times in the 3//5 hours detecting sessions i have.

I use TDK WR700 and never had a problem, with turning off, also the lag is minimal when slowing down your swing. I wouldn't go back to wired headphones again.

its a mystery why nobody caters for a global demand from detectorists ,big market waiting .its not rocket science to creat wifi phones , XP have done it ok for their range but nobody else can
