Post by sxsi » Mon Nov 05, 2018 2:18 pm

Hi guys,

Would anyone know what the markings mean on the bottom of this shell-casing please? Apart from 1942 :D

Many thanks in advance

It's a British 6lb shellcase, CF means it was filled with cordite rather than black powder, crows foot WD acceptance markings. Nice find.
