Never Seen One Like This Before!?

Post by detectorman5050 »

Found this one today on the beach (just before I got totally soaked, and had to abandon ship,) at a spot that produces quite a number of musket balls, and other military related items which I believe are from roughly around the 1850's.

I also found what looks like a Victorian Royal Navy button close to it, so there may be a connection.

As you can see from photo the base diameter, is 10mm. Any ideas what fired it?

Thanks.
