Rutus Alter 71 - A Short After Work Walk...

Post by Bargeman » Wed Sep 13, 2017 8:07 pm

I called in on the little footpath after work, just a short walk up and down, the ground is now damp following the rain we now seem to be getting, and the finds are still there to be found.
My first signal was a surprise, it gave the same numbers as a Vicky or George penny, but on digging the signal I found a little padlock, maybe from an old bible? After this and just a few feet from the padlock I had a faint but digable signal, which produced a tiny button with silver wash on the face.
My last signal at the top end of the path produced yet another silver for the Rutus, this time a young Victoria sixpence from 1866. I have worked this same footpath many times now, but the finds keep coming ::g
