Makro Pulse Dive

just wondering if anyone is using the makro pulse dive (pinpointer only ) and could give me a heads up on it, battery life , use etc.

Hi Neil Have not got one myself but I was very interested in getting one until I got to see one a dealer had it had the coil attached so only tried it like that I had a gold ring in my pocket it was only picking it up at about one inch. Asked dealer was it set at maximum he said it was but test was indoors maybe that might have affected it and the ring was a dress ring so it would likely get a better signal on coins and wedding bands.

It looked the biz but performance was useless for my needs.

thanks for that allmetal, im hoping after that it performs differently without the diving coil on the end a few youtube vids that ive seen it seems to be ok, will have to see if anyone has one

Hi Neil,

Had a look at one of these, and they were not the best..Performance was better with the "coil" than as a "pinpointer" but still fairly average at best..

Can I ask what you want it for / why this particular model???

hi pete hows it going,
well I was thinking of getting a nokta simplex when they come out and they come with the green headphones which the pulse dive connects to and other than it being fully waterproof for the beach
I have no idea lol I was only getting the pointer not the diving bit
