I keep totttttttering on the edge of an equinox but the shaft issues are putting me off, is it now a issue or woz it only the first ones ?? Just wanted to see what other shafts were avaible for it ....prob wait for dust to settle and any issues arise, get a s/h one , if it sqeaked it would do my head in .

Don't know.

But find the price of detector shafts in Europe annoying.

In the Ukrainian I saw a brand new "S" shaft were being sold for €14 that included everything including the lower shaft.

Ahhhhhhh still winds me up a year or so later

Buy carbon tube and fittings and have a go yourself? Parts are cheap enough and no middle man!

Annoying if it happens to you but not very common. Best to buy off of this forum of course but if you are really that worried you could always buy from a dealer with a shop and assemble it before you leave. ::g
