Detector Bag

Post by Shawshank » Wed Dec 23, 2015 5:31 pm

Can anyone recommend a bag to put my T2 and Spade in, I've got a black Ada stainless steel extended handled trowel rather than the full sized border spade.

I'm after something hard wearing to keep my kit in, keeping the detector and spade separate.

All help gratefully received.

I bought a second hand Salomon ski-bag off of fleabay years ago. Still going strong and it's had a Tesoro, T2, XP ADX 250 and now a Minelab Explorer 2 in it. You can get them dirt cheap. ::g

Somebody (sorry can not remember who) suggested a shotgun slip (a canvas / leather carrying case that is carried over the shoulder with adjustable strap) the other day. They normally have a side pocket that would be ideal for the spade.

As I used to shoot, so already have a gunslip, I will certainly use this idea in the future myself.
