turtle boxes

dose anyone use these turtle boxes ?, these are 4.5" x 3". just wondering what is the largest coin that will fit in them, will they fit a florin sized coin, its hard to tell from the pics ::g

From memory I thing the centre section will take a Lizzie sixpence

wow not very big then, any one care to share there finds boxes, looking for somthing not to big but fits larger coins as i find alot of pre decimals ::g

Try your local fishing tackle shop, small tackle boxes are ideal containers for your coin finds.

I purchased something very similar...and the compartments were too small..so i carefully cut out the plastic compartments and put in some foam rubber which I cut from a pan scrubber (new !!)
cut two pieces to required depth and shape,and it works perfectly, holding your coins firmly in position.

i have 2 of these but alas have not had to use them yet

think i might add a couple of these to the finds bag, cheap enough at £1.56 each
approx size 13 x 8 x 4 cm ( L *W * D). any thoughts are appreciated ::g
