looking for a cheap machine to keep down at my caravan in wales for the beach .. how does the euro ace do on the sand...

i have used the euro ace for the past two years and found it very noisy on the wet sand but if you can put up with the chattering it will still give a positive signal when it passes over anything. turning sensitivity down helps a bit . on dry sand it is very good . i also detect North wales beaches as i only have to hop over the sea wall

Does not work well on Talacre Rhyl or Conwy.


Might just get away with it at kinmel bay.


Most of Talacre to Llandudno are quite trying on the wet sand. Not nice and even like some other parts of the UK


Above the high tide line any detector will be fine.
