There was a patch of grass with cliff overhanging in shade so soil was still a bit damp, as most ground been like concrete lately with heatwave, ive got ten " marked on shovel to test the big coil.
I found a silver george 1v sixpence and a 1959 half penny at well over 8" they were not in side of hole they never fell out they had to be prised off soil at well over 8" and with stock coil, probaly gas the halo effect, not a big haul but a great result for aces depth, so the big coil has to be better
