Ace 150 in water??

Post by smudge.g » Sun Aug 24, 2014 10:37 am

maybe a stupid question but does anyone know if the 150 coil can be used in very shallow water? I have a small burn (stream) running though my garden which i have already found some old stuff in and wondered if the ace could be used perhaps an inch or two under the surface to hunt for buried coins/buckles etc??
Thanks for reading. :)

That's great Glen, thanks. I just wondered about the waterproof-ness (?) of the coil. The stream is mainly a few inches deep but does get to about a foot in places. We can walk through it but definately not swim. Will have to try it and see what is buried in it now!! :D
