Looks good for clean ground. I really fancy the Nel Hunter.

Fair enough Tankerd. My mates got a Hunter on his Ace 400i and he's seeing good depth. Will be interesting to hear what you think if you get the Storm.

A bigger coil will:- get increased depth on increased sized objects but cover more ground per sweep. Don't forget you'll also miss small items which will not show at the 'increased depth'.

You will gain and you will lose so therein lies lies the question - will it be worth the expenditure?
Also the weight gain can prove a pain! So what will your decision be? Regards ss47

I have been on a field I have battered with 4 coils ace 250 standard and the hunter,, also at pro standard and the tornado.. been over same field twice for 2 hour sessions with the storm and found another 12 coins, its an oustanding coil it brings out the machine in its full potential.

I have been using the Nel Storm for some time, come the winter it does go deep. I was told that I would not find small hammered, well the two cut half pennies I have the Storm found, the standard coil and other detectors missed them. I believe my other half bought Tankereds Big Nel well this evening that has just found a silver sixpence and a ship half penny in well hunted ground.

Hi had the tornado coil,, then upgraded to the storm its a lot better on depth, seperation also brings out the full potential in the machine you wont be disappointed. Its going to be staying on my machine for a good while until I go on stubble.
