Just purchased Garrett Seahunter 2 detector for beach

Post by Copperballs1 » Thu Dec 07, 2017 2:17 pm

I have been after a PI machine for a while now. Just purchased via that well known auction site - don’t normally buy this route but saw it was Staffordshire detectors selling and I know they have a good reputation although I have never used them myself. Looking forward to getting on the beach at Southport, Ainsdale, Formby......

Hi I use mine in the standard trash mode,1mm past zero threshold,an no elimination,I find on some beaches you may have to wind this upto 1 due to a little falsing.just returned from a week on the Asturias Atlantic coast, dug 200 targets, found nice gold heart with date 1962,an digital gold plated watch that must have been tumbled in the waves for some time, but still working, also some other interesting things..Mike

Thanks Mike, I’ll give those settings a go. Well done on your finds!
