Etrac settings for stubble

Post by Norvs » Fri Sep 16, 2016 5:43 pm

Hi all I have been detecting for a season on fields that have produced a full range fro m Roman through to late Georgian but as of now have only found two hammered. I have found lots of small Roman bronzes from good depth but not much medieval coinage. There was a Manor House built in the late 15 th century on the farm which is no longer there but for some reason I am not finding hammered coins which I am sure are there. I use the Etrac on multi conductive with a tadpole disc but I am not sur I have the rest of the setup correct, any advise please :ml

Hi Norvs
In addition to your settings, I set the response to smooth and sensitivity in manual with the level as high as the ground mineral conditions allow without it becoming too chattery.
