Copper alloy item with inset stone for id

Afternoon dirt fishers๐Ÿ‘‹
Out for a cpl hrs on my new permission thats full of iron , managed to weed out this copper alloy summats that looks like it has a black carved stone in it ? hightone 46 on the vdi down at about 4 inch in depth , looks to me like a pendent or brooch anybody able to offer an id as to what it may be ? many thanks all appreciate it ๐Ÿ‘

The remains of a 19th or early 20thC hat pin. The socket is for the steel pin. [81/]
