Cut gold coin for ID please.

Post by Ten pence! »

It was blowing a gale here today and the field was a mudbath, anyway second signal was this! We've had Saxon finds of this particular field for years, in fact this us my second gold coin off it this month, I'm guessing Merovingian? Found with my Nox 600 in F1, was around 5cm deep.
Thanks in advance.

As fragmented rather than cut, always a chance the other bit might be about🤞

Excellent find 👏

It's definitely been deliberatly cut in half, I 'd like to think the other half Is still in existence!

Well done. A lovely find and really interesting to see that it had been deliberately cut. [81/]
