PS:
Is there any truth in the claim that at least 5% of lightnings hit trees with buried treasure?
No, but MP with any of the huge coils surely does much more than 5%. ::g
There will be some update on the web site information soon.

Hello!
I have Nexus MP detector. I use this aftermarket big DD coil with Nexus MP. I test it in air, 0.5l beercan is 170 cm. Is this good distance to the original nexus coils?

I personally would have said that a '0.5l beercan is 170 cm' in a air test would be about right, possibly deeper in ground and of course slightly deeper on larger items as well.
Equinox,Deus2,Nexus MP,TDI Pro pulse c/w 20'' Mono,Fisher TW-5 twin box and the big fella the Minelab GPX pulse c/w 18'' Coiltek Mono Elite.

With original 41" coil or dual - 2 X 31" what is the distance on airtest with 0.5l beercan?

I very rarely use the MP these days, much prefer to use a Pulse with a 18'' Coiltek coil on,i find it suits my needs so much better and against what folks are told a Pulse can have pretty good discrimination into the bargain.

I am happy with the Nexus in dry weather. However, after rain, on wet ground, it degrades like all IBs, even though I use a 5.7 kHz searchcoil. Fortunately, it doesn't rain that much here.
