On reviewing this thread I realised that I never posted pictures of Erika the Lady Viking’s completed Cigar Box!

In preparation and anticipation of getting some items back from the FLO in October, and also possibly finding some more good stuff between then and now, I have just been having a very good sort out in my Engineer's tool chest. I was as ruthless a Viking as I possibly could be, I thing I made Ragnar seem meek and mild!
Of my now quite considerable button collection, the only ones to remain in the tool chest are the interesting ones, i.e. military buttons, livery buttons, 1 gilt button, my best Tombac button and good Dandy Buttons. The rest have all gone in a jar.
With all my toasted coins (I call them 'King Daves, a phrase I borrowed from some hairy you tubers) I put them in a tobacco tin. There was a decent amount of scrap to be honest, so that went in the bin.

Some outstanding innovative ideas shown here. Sort of non handyman here so I just use the 3 ring binders that hold the pages in coin packets. Comes in all sizes..no fuss nor muss for those "handyman challenged" of us. Best of the New Year!
