Rocky field coil size question

Post by SPARTAN-ΦΩΣ »

Hello detectorists.
As a beginner I have a question for you.
Is there a benefit using a bigger coil on rocky fields?
Thanks in advance.

A bigger coil mostly gives better ground coverage and a little more depth. [81/]

If the rocky field have high mineralization, the bigger coil is worse.
Also more susceptible to EMI, if present.
