Hey guys I need some info about my new permission I have got a nice big field and have looked at local history found out it was once a world war 1 military camp + prisoner camp I am going on sunday with my dad :)

Unless you want to share it with everyone I'd keep a lid on it if I were you. But it might be worth going to your local library or records office and seeing what they have on it.

lovely area, the old pow area is very overgrown and not easy to find, but its easy to see all the hundreds of berms that the thousand or so camp huts were built onto. loads of bracken to wade through and crazy dogs chasing deer.
