Just joined the forum and as a new Detectorist this post was invaluable. Setting out next week with my best bib and tucker on to try and get a few permissions.
I have been meaning to do this hobby for the best part of thirty years but life got in the way.

Thanks for sharing, as I am new to this exciting hobby one doesn’t always no the rules and restrictions.
