A nicely worked scraper.While out detecting on the high ground, which I have been lately, I do like to keep an eye out for worked flints.
I picked up plenty of debitage today, then near the end of the session found this nicely worked round scraper,probably dated to the Late Neolithic Period. I really like these dark coloured flints, they really highlight the fine working. Yes,that was a nice one,there’s a lot of prehistoric activity in my area,every now and then a keeper arises. Take it easy, OA, Rich. Maybe these maps and legends?
