Hey Giz

[81/]

2. I'm not sure about this one but given the top is solid and the inside empty, maybe an incomplete candle snuffer?

3. Also not sure about this one! Does it look like something has broken off the front, just below the iron rivet? If so, I'm wondering if it's an early medieval strap end (with a single rivet eg https://finds.org.uk/database/artefacts ... /id/750917)

4. A single loop medieval buckle (1200-1400; indent for pin and recessed bar eg https://finds.org.uk/database/artefacts ... id/1170051)

7. Nice snake buckle! These are difficult to date and are still used now. Dates on PAS range from early mid 16thC to modern.

Cheers, Ruth

That's a jolly good set of finds, well done [81/]
No 3 looks like a bronze early medieval strap end that someone back in Saxon times has installed a large iron rivet. Remake and re-use.
I have come across an extra hole before on the same basis but not such a large iron rivet.
