Apex of 7 year cycle
No. No! It cannot be true. The invasion has come. In my abode, on the windows in the bathroom and yes even in the woods. Rabbits to the left, rabbits to the right! The ones at home I can account for as Marie (A.K.A. The Hunny Bunny) had decorated our place for the Easter Season. I could not take anymore. Grabbing Zen Guru and a few meds I "D Deed " out putting Nogo at max warp.
Once at the designated dig spot the tension began to ebb from my battered body. But was I alone? Holes here ; holes there . Holes everywhere. I was not the first to be there. Dodging the holes and doggy dew I began my left armed swinging of the Zen. Pennies. Yes. And more pennies. Thinking that who ever was there before me had been taken out by fur balls. I was hopping this would not happen to me. Was a mess already and had only been swinging for half an hour. No hopping here fur dis bouy but I did go on the lamb dragging my left leg behind me like Igor in some grade b horror movie! Then a nitro moment that was to disappoint...a junker followed by a gold colored earing which was also a junker. To top it off i also found a painted fossil of a stone age rabbittisorous Turned around at a noise at my back. Two lovely brown eyes, brown hair and a tail that was wagging at maximum velocity staring at me with much ado. Was glad it was "Rusty" and not some 10 foot rabbit from Planet X with 6 inch fangs waiting to trounce on me, tear me limb from limb and devour my sweet flesh or cuddle an adorable me....I know that I am like a pound of chewed bubblegum with no flavor left!
Enough was enough so after a few pats and bum rub I departed heading home to a real Hunny Bunny dressed to the nines as she still had her work uniform on. Reminded me of that song "I'm in Love with a McDonald's Girl." This was made even better by my mind altering drugs and a few hugs. Hopping that I can move tomorrow fur another dig!
