Usually give me a 18/19 or 19/20 on the Nox 800, so I know what's coming, but can't risk not digging them .

.... also on one on my permission is lots of small pharma bottle screw tops and also the lids of a bottle you would stick a syringe into... which both give ace signals....... but there is a blessing in there somewhere. All my permissions have had detecting groups visit many times.... but lots of acres so still find stuff but one small field has loads of this pests in the soil so i suspect they didn’t bother with this field..... just means i have to work harder but thats fine by me. Haven’t been able to get much time in that field tho as the grass grows so quick in that one field and doesn’t get cut till all the fields need doin... sometimes its more painfull not being able to get in that one field and dig up all the moo tubes to see what else is there than it is actually digging them all up. Prob end up with bag fulls of moo tubes and nothing else... that really would be painfull. Sorry for rabbiting but moo tubes is the subject

I know exactly where you’re coming from but with a different detecting Nemesis mate 70’s-80’s ring pulls and loads of them plus bottle tops and loads of nearly toasted copper pennies & half pennies.
The 19 acre previously ploughed pasture has been used for a village show from the early 1900’s-the mid 80’s, you will know ring pulls give a very similar tone/target ID as a hammered coin which I was fortunate/unfortunate to find one amongst them. Liz 1st 1581 decent condition hammered, I kept grafting it for just more ring pulls and bottle tops

I'm lucky that my life isn't blighted by ring-pulls, just 'Moo Tubes' and random lumps of lead, or at least that's all my detecting life is blighted by. Non detecting life is blighted by random bits of old cars which came here to die when my husband was alive, and now blight my life while I spend hours working what they are off before sticking them on a well know auction site (I'd rather be out detecting!). Boring but necessary to supplement the pension, can make quite a difference e.g. a speedo that the Greggster thought was off a motor bike, wasn't (good job I looked it up!) it was off an early three wheeler Morgan, makes a big difference to the selling price, I did also contact the three wheeler Morgan Club and let them know it was on that auction site.
